Rich Harden? Pfft. Who needs him?

I'll take my daily dose of Derrek Lee and his .513/.537/1.331 line over Harden any time, thankyouverymuch. ;)

That's an interesting question: if money were no object, would you rather have Harden or Lee?

Are we considering health in this? That would be the thing that would make me hesitate about Harden at this point: the notion that, even with all that talent, and the great results when he can go, that he just might not be able to go often enough.

If health is guaranteed, I probably take Harden, because he's just that electric and dominating when he's right (not to mention, young). No guarantees, I take The Savior.

During the long grind of the season good pitching beats good batting, so in general I'd always rather have a good starter than a good batter. But still, I'd like Lee too much to give him up.

Injuries notwithstanding, I'd take Harden. No contest.

3 Maybe good pitching beats good batting - but only once every five days. Harden has an edge because of his age, but if you put that aside, I'd take Lee in a heartbeat.

Two more hits for Derrek through two innings, raising his average to .537
